Sesame Hummus
This sesame oil spiked hummus was served alongside our succulent lamb koftas and homemade flatbread – it paired beautifully.
Ingredients
- 2 tins of chickpeas
- 2 tbsp tahini
- 1/2 tsp chicken stock powder
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves
- Zest of half a lemon and juice of one
- 2-4 tbs harissa paste
Directions
- Crush garlic and lightly fry in a pan with olive oil. Set aside to cool.
- Place all ingredients in food processor. Blitz for two minutes. Scrape down sides.
- Continue blitzing for another two minutes. During this time, slowly pour ice cold water into the blender, until desired thickness is achieved.
