Book your wine tasting at ChaLou Wines, a boutique cellar door nestled near Orange, NSW.
Join us for a guided tasting of our current releases or experience our Bud to Bottle tour—a deeper look into our winemaking process and vineyard rhythm.

Cellar Door Wine Tasting
Come and enjoy our stunning views overlooking the vineyard and property while you taste your way through our range of cool climate wines.
We’ll guide you through the tasting, sharing a little about each wine, the vineyard and how we make our wines here at ChaLou, from bud to bottle.
Tastings:
Friday – Monday, 11 AM – 4 PM
$20 per person (non-redeemable on purchase)
We encourage booking in advance. Our cellar door is small but sweet — booking helps us make sure there’s space to welcome you comfortably.
Wine Club Tasting
As a ChaLou club member, we’d love to welcome you back to the cellar door for a tasting on us. Settle in overlooking the vineyard and taste through our current wines, with the opportunity to try a few bottles beyond our usual tasting selection when available.
Where possible, Nadja or Steve will take you through your tasting, sharing what’s been happening in the vineyard and winery and the stories behind the wines from bud to bottle.
Club Tastings
Friday – Monday, 11 AM – 4 PM
As a club member, your tasting for two is on us each time you visit.
You’re welcome to bring additional guests — simply include everyone in your club tasting booking. Your two complimentary tastings will be applied, with additional guests $20 per person.
Bud to Bottle Tour
Join owners and winemakers Nadja and Steve for a behind-the-scenes adventure!
Start with a tour of the winery, sampling wines straight from the barrel, and hearing their philosophy and stories. Then, explore the vineyards and discover their favourite spots.
Finish at the cellar door with a local tasting plate and a guided tasting of our entire wine range, all while soaking in the spectacular vineyard and valley views.

Friday – Sunday, from 11 AM
$150 per person (non-redeemable on purchase)

Our maximum standard booking size in the cellar door is 6 people. For groups over this size or special requests, please contact us directly at 0459 689 696 or nadja@chalouwines.com.au.
Yes. Providing your pets are well behaved and remain on a leash they are welcome at our Cellar Door. We have a resident Black Labrador Barnacle who is always keen to meet new friends.
Always. We are a family friendly venue. There are outside areas where children are able to play whilst in view of the cellar door. We ask that children not go into the vineyard and “explore” the grounds without adult supervision. ChaLou Wines is a working farm and is also home to wildlife which needs to be respected.
How to Get to ChaLou Wines
Address: 569 Emu Swamp Road, Canobolas NSW
(approx. 15 minutes from Orange, 50 minutes from Bathurst)
From Bathurst
- Take the Mitchell Highway (A32) toward Orange
- Just as you drive into Lucknow, turn right onto Emu Swamp Road
- Follow Emu Swamp Road for approx. 15 minutes
(Note: the final 10 minutes are gravel) - ChaLou Wines is at 569 Emu Swamp Road, on the left-hand side
Look for the vineyard sign and gravel driveway
From Orange
- Head east out of town on Icely Road
- After approx. 10 minutes, turn left onto Emu Swamp Road
- Drive approx. 5 minutes—ChaLou Wines is at 569 Emu Swamp Road, on the left-hand side
